A not so restful night...

So last night, I was very lonely. I did not want to sleep. Mommy went to bed at her usual hour (around 10) and I sat on the bed and ate the treat she gave me. I ALWAYS get a treat before I go to bed because I'm a P-R-I-N-C-E-S-S. My Daddy even says that I'm a princess. Mommy calls me a Drama Queen and while I'm not quite sure what that is, I'm sure it fits into my line of royalty somewhere.

I woke Mommy and Daddy up around 2:30 this morning. I wanted to play! I kept crawling up on Mommy's chest and then I'd roll over to Daddy and wanted them to pet me. The "sleepy pets" I get (the kind where your human is snoring but their hand is still petting you...) were somewhat satisfying, but not enough. So I kept inching up near their faces and licking them. I don't think Mommy liked that because she kept telling me no. When she gest fussy like that, I have to give her more kisses to say I'm sorry.

Finally, Mommy and Daddy went back to sleep and I woke them up again at 4:30. I'm telling you - this is not their time to sleep. They are gone all day doing goodness knows what. They can sleep then! I do!!! When they get home though, it's MY time! Helllllllllllooooo, haven't you been briefed on the Pekingese Property Laws???

I know Mommy has, because she has the shirt! But - incase not, here's the laws!



N-e-waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy...

I'm very tired now. I was up all night getting petted and loved on and playing with Mommy and Daddy. I think it's time for me to rest my pretty little peke head on my crate and then maybe later, I'll dig up that bone and carry it around for a while...
